Mrs. Griffith

I love being a Griffith. Being married is the greatest joy I have experienced in my life. I love being a wife, and taking care of my sweet husband! I love the family I married into! I got three beautiful new sisters-in-law, and it has been so much fun!
Kenadee is so sweet.
Kayla is so cute and so welcoming.
Laura is awesome and funny.
My new Mom and Dad are so great and funny! They have welcomed me into their family and they really make me feel like I am one of their own. I am so lucky to have such great parents-in-law.
I love my new family!

Being married has truly been the greatest blessing. After being sealed to Nate, I feel like a lot of things have been put into perspective for me now. I am fulfilling my calling to be a wife, and in a few years I'll be able to be a mother! And I know that I couldn't have picked a better man to share my life with. We work so well together and are so compatible. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I know our marriage will be blessed and we will be so happy together. Can't wait to spend eternity with my babe!!

A week in paradise....

We went on our honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico!! We stayed at an all-inclusive resort right on the beach and it was awesome! We got a tad bit sick of the food because let's just say Mexicans don't always understand the art of American cuisine.. But it was good to be culturally immersed ;) A few highlights from our trip...

A King-Size bed..
Private beach access from our concierge hotel room..
Dessert after every meal..
Laying out in HOT Mexican sun..
Surrounded by palm trees..
Unlimited strawberry-banana Daquiri's (non-alcoholic, of course)..
Hot-tubbing in the comfort and privacy of our own hotel room..
Snorkeling..
Driving ATV's on the beach..
Eating delicious fruit..
Sleeping in..
Ordering room service for almost every meal..
Getting a professional massage..
Staying up late just laughing..
Waking up next to each other..
Being together every second..
...
Can we go back now?? :)

As you can tell, the honeymoon was perfect. Traveling by ourselves went a lot smoother than I had expected, also. I was stressing a little because 1) I stress over everything and 2) I haven't been out of the country by myself before, and Nate had never been out of the country! I was a little nervous something would go terribly wrong.. But everything went perfectly. Needless to say..

Honeymoon was wonderful.
Nate is a babe.
I have the best husband ever.
We are in love... Completely.

Married :)

Well the deed is done!! In case you're all wondering why on EARTH I'm blogging on  my first real day of married life, it's because we're bored waiting in the airport for our flight to CANCUN!!! Wahoooo!! The wedding day was absolutely PERFECT. Everything went swell. The actual wedding was great, lots of family to enjoy the morning with :) The luncheon was PHENOMENAL- Thanks to Aunt Kristi for planning everything and thanks to her beautiful daughters for being our servers! The food was excellent, the speeches by the fathers were sob-fests (and wonderful), and we all got to talk and have some good laughs! The weather for the reception turned out PERFECT!!!! We were soooooo worried that it would rain... in fact, it was supposed to be this huge storm over the weekend like all over the west coast... but I suppose God loves us and supports our marriage so he decided to make me happy again :) He never disappoints. So, due to the wonderful weather, we got to follow the original plan and do the reception outside. It was soooo beautiful. Props to my mother for planning everything and making all the big decisions for me :) The 10 bridesmaids all fit in their dresses, the 6 groomsmen all remembered their ties, and baby Will.I.Am looked devilishly handsome in his baby tuxedo! The flowergirls were darling and handed out all the little treats, the food was delicious, the setting was gorgeous, the cake was perfect. Everything just went so well. I feel so grateful for such a perfect wedding day!! Not to mention getting married to the most WONDERFUL, FABULOUS, HANDSOME babe in the whole world!!! That was truly the best part. Easily, so easily, the best best best day of our lives! We felt complete joy as we went through the festivities of the day, knowing that we were supposed to be together forever. Nate is the greatest husband ever! And so far married life is wonderful :) I have never felt so much joy. Thanks to all who came to the reception, thanks to my fab family for helping so much with the wedding. Thanks to my amazing daddy who I love more than life. Thanks to my awesome mom who never ceases to amaze me. Thanks to MyKey for being my BEAUTIFUL maid of honor-- Love her. Thanks to all my beautiful bridesmaids who looked flawless in their dresses, and thanks to Nate for marrying me!!! Love you all, see you when we get back from CANCUN!!!!

.nate.

Nate is my life.
He brings me true happiness.
I love his smile, his laugh, and most of all his ability to make me laugh.
I love his spirituality and his positive attitude.
His kindness towards me and others is astounding.
He's patient with me when I'm being a drag.
His love for me shows in every action.
He has never yelled, or even acted like he was upset with me because of a mistake I made.
He has never ceased to forgive and forget.
He loves me for exactly what I am, and has never once asked me to change.
He is beautiful, inside and out.
He has so much passion for things that he loves.
He likes to prove his point.
He is very manly and brooding ;)
He can pick me up with ease.
He never fails to genuinely tell me I'm beautiful multiple times a day.
He always makes sure to explain how lucky he feels to have found me.
He will be such a good daddy.
He loves his friends, his family, me and my family, and never fails to be loyal to us.
There is nothing he would not do for me, and he would always be happy to do it.
I am his princess, and he never fails to tell me that.
He is so romantic.
He took me to the temple yesterday and I can't describe the joy I felt to be able to go through with him.
He is a worthy priesthood holder of the only true church.
He loves to do things his way.
He does not like to ask for help.. why would he? He can do anything.
He can change the oil in any car.
He can build things.
He always can have fun, rain or shine.
He is so positive and always calms me down when I am stressed.
When I am sick or in pain, he is always right by my side making me feel better.
He kisses my boo boos better.
He kisses my forehead.
He would sacrifice his life for me.
He wants to take care of me.
He wants to be financial successful for our future family.
He loves what I love.
He keeps me safe.
He keeps me happy.
... And I get to marry him in 5 days. I couldn't have gotten luckier. :)
